Submitting the Residence Card and Other Identification
We ask customers who are not a national of Japan, to submit their Residence Card or Special Permanent Resident Certificate as identification.
Please note that failure to submit such documents may result in restrictions on the use of customers' accounts.
*If customers who have permanent resident status submit their Residence Card and/or other identification, we will update their registered information accordingly.
How to Submit

■Take a picture with your smartphone and submit
Please proceed from the Upload Residence Card * and Other Identification page.
*If your account name is an alias, check the instructions under “Customers whose account name is an alias” below and send the documents by mail.

Please print out the form, check and attach the required documents, and send the form to the Bank.
This is a postage-paid mailing label. Please use it to send documents by mail.

Please make the changes from the Quick Procedure * Navigator and submit the Residence Card and/or other identification after completing the changes.

- The address on the submitted documents will be treated as your current address. If your registered address and the address on the submitted documents are different, we will update your registered information.
- Submitted documents with any deficiencies will not be returned.
Help us prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism
In order to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism, which are becoming increasingly complex and sophisticated, the Bank is taking measures in accordance with the "Guidelines for Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism" published by the Financial Services Agency in February 2018.
As part of these measures, we are asking customers who are not a national of Japan to submit their Residence Card or Special Permanent Resident Certificate.

Please renew your Residence Card and/or other identification first. Then, submit your renewed Residence Card and/or other identification to the Bank.
